Bryan, Christy, Ezekiel and Eden Anaya

Month: January 2011

Our Own Little Reindeer!

Bryan’s mom bought Ezekiel a reindeer outfit for Christmas and he finally fits into it. So, I put it on him this morning and he wasn’t too happy with me. He kept touching the sleeves and I’m sure he was wondering what I had dressed him in. I took some pictures of him while he was playing and by the end of the morning I think he might of actually liked the outfit. It sure did keep him warm.

Mmmmmmmm, Avocados!

We are trying to introduce some solid foods into Ezekiel’s diet. So, the other day we gave him some avocados. We didn’t mash them up and he really liked them. Now every time Bryan cuts open an avocado Ezekiel enjoys eating a little of it with daddy!

Wonderful Visit From Aunt Allison!

My sister flew up to Seattle last weekend to visit us. She could hardly believe how big Ezekiel has gotten since she last saw him. We had tons of fun together!  On Saturday we took a walk to the lake. The scenery was very underwhelming, it being winter and all; but we still had a fun time. I don’t think that Ezekiel liked being so bundled up but it was very cold that day. Thanks for such a fun time!

Wires Everywhere!

Its hard to baby proof a house that has so many computers and electronic gadgets. So, I always keep Ezekiel close so he can’t get into trouble. The other day I went into the kitchen to get some water and when I came back I found Ezekiel playing with Bryan’s computer wires. I had to snap a few photos before I let him know that he wasn’t supposed to be playing with daddy’s toys. The second picture is when he noticed me, by the look on his face I think he knew that he was being naughty.

Getting Around!

Ezekiel has now found out how to get wherever he wants. He will crawl over pillows, toys, even me to get where he wants. Yesterday, he even followed me into the laundry room. It was so cute, I turned around and he was right there. I’m not sure that the house is quite ready for Ezekiel to be so mobile, but ready or not here he comes!

My, What Big Teeth You Have!

Red Riding Hood may want to stay away from our house because Ezekiel is working on filling his mouth with teeth. He has had his bottom two teeth for several weeks now and his top ones are soon to follow. For some reason he doesn’t like it when I take pictures; I think it’s the flash. So, I have been having a hard time getting him to show me his teeth when the camera is out. This week, I was finally able to get him to open his mouth enough to get a picture of his teeth. I also added a photo showing how he now loves to put everything in his mouth.

New Year, New Accomplishments!

I can hardly believe how much Ezekiel has changed in the past 6 months. He has mastered sitting up on his own and is very eager to crawl. I’m sure it won’t take him long to start crawling and Bryan and I are looking forward to a whole new set of adventures.
