Climb To The Clouds

This morning we visited the Yaquina Head light house. Bryan, my father and I made the long spiral journey up to the top of the lighthouse. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let us carry Ezekiel to the top so my mother stayed at the bottom and held Ezekiel. The 104 steps to the top were no problem; the problem was the open staircase all the way to the top. Not an ideal situation for people who are afraid of heights. It was in the low 40’s so we didn’t stick around long enough to explore the beach below the lighthouse.

After that we found a sheltered cove where we saw harbor seals lounging on the rocks.

Ezekiel was tired form our journey so he slept the whole way home and it didn’t bother him one bit when his hat fell off and onto his face. I think the cold weather bothered him more.

More Than Milk

Today is the third day that Ezekiel had eaten his rice baby food. He actually seems to like it a lot. I can’t wait to start making him other foods. Gourmet baby food here we come!

To Grandmothers House We Go!

For the past couple of days we have been in Oregon with my parents. We have been having lots of fun together. My mom and I enjoy cooking together while the men enjoy playing x box. Ezekiel enjoyed snuggling with grandma during his nap time. We also had a Thanksgiving dinner one night. I made my first pumpkin pie ever. Not sure how I managed to go so long without ever making one but Bryan said it was delicious.

Avoiding Nap Time

One night we had Ezekiel in the bouncer trying to calm him down for nap time, while we were making dinner. He was laughing a lot and when I looked over he had almost pulled his sock off his foot. He also had his leg sticking up in the air. He was clearly not ready for his nap.
