A Blessed Life

Today Ezekiel had some mangos with his lunch. He is now very skilled at eating with his hands. He loves finger foods and even though he only had 4 teeth he can chew pieces of fruit. He loved the mangos!

Bryan was listening to music with his headphones and Ezekiel wanted to try. It was too cute!

Ezekiel has been teething so he has been biting anything and everything in sight. Bryan and I were even on the receiving ends of some of those bites. One evening in particular, he was crawling around and biting everything in his play room.

Since Ezekiel knew that it is my birthday he decided to help me do the dishes. Unfortunately, he was trying to clean the already clean dishes in his mouth! I have to give him credit for trying!

We spent a long relaxing weekend in Oregon last weekend. My mom had a bunch of new toys for Ezekiel to play with so he really liked that. She got a car track that Bryan set up so that Ezekiel could watch the cars race around the track. I think Bryan may have like it more than Ezekiel. Ezekiel also loved looking out at the bay. I wish it hadn’t been so rainy and windy so we could have walked on the beach. There will be plenty of time for that this summer. I’m just trying to figure out how to keep Ezekiel from eating the sand.

I recently captured some very cute pictures of Bryan & Ezekiel.

One day Bryan was trying to get work done so Ezekiel and I were playing in a different room. All of a sudden Ezekiel bolted out of the room and went into where Bryan was working. I guess he wanted to spend some time with daddy. It was too cute!

The last picture was when Bryan and Ezekiel were playing. I guess they just wanted to relax for a bit.

We have been having a lot of snow lately. So, we bundled Ezekiel up and took him out to see the snow. Right before we came inside we took off Ezekiel’s gloves and let him play with the snow. He really liked it. We can’t wait to go sledding with him next year!

Ezekiel has been pulling himself up on anything and everything. He will be walking before we know it.

We all love spending time together as a family!

Ezekiel and I have been reading together a lot lately. He loves looking at the little cardboard Dr. Suess books we got him. He also loves the fact that he can handle the books and turn the pages himself. He has also become interested in my bookshelf and all my cookbooks.  He will take any book, he doesn’t discriminate.
