My 2 Favorite Guys

I recently captured some very cute pictures of Bryan & Ezekiel.

One day Bryan was trying to get work done so Ezekiel and I were playing in a different room. All of a sudden Ezekiel bolted out of the room and went into where Bryan was working. I guess he wanted to spend some time with daddy. It was too cute!

The last picture was when Bryan and Ezekiel were playing. I guess they just wanted to relax for a bit.

Snowflakes Keep Fallin’ On My Head

We have been having a lot of snow lately. So, we bundled Ezekiel up and took him out to see the snow. Right before we came inside we took off Ezekiel’s gloves and let him play with the snow. He really liked it. We can’t wait to go sledding with him next year!

Family Time!

We all love spending time together as a family!

Wonderful Visit From Aunt Allison!

My sister flew up to Seattle last weekend to visit us. She could hardly believe how big Ezekiel has gotten since she last saw him. We had tons of fun together!  On Saturday we took a walk to the lake. The scenery was very underwhelming, it being winter and all; but we still had a fun time. I don’t think that Ezekiel liked being so bundled up but it was very cold that day. Thanks for such a fun time!

More Family Christmas Time

Bryan’s parents came to visit a few days after Christmas. Ezekiel had fun opening presents again with his grandparents and his aunt.

Ezekiel’s First Christmas!

We had a fun first Christmas with Ezekiel. I’m not sure he really knew what was going on. He didn’t seem to understand why we had hidden a bunch of new toys under paper.

I had him all dressed up in a “my first Christmas” outfit, but unfortunately it didn’t make it to present/picture time.

Evening Fun!

When I cook dinner in the evening Ezekiel has fun playing in his baby gym. Then when Ezekiel hears daddy come in he gets very excited. He knows that they get to play together for a bit before dinner. Their evening time together is priceless and I wouldn’t miss those moments for the world.

Climb To The Clouds

This morning we visited the Yaquina Head light house. Bryan, my father and I made the long spiral journey up to the top of the lighthouse. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let us carry Ezekiel to the top so my mother stayed at the bottom and held Ezekiel. The 104 steps to the top were no problem; the problem was the open staircase all the way to the top. Not an ideal situation for people who are afraid of heights. It was in the low 40′s so we didn’t stick around long enough to explore the beach below the lighthouse.

After that we found a sheltered cove where we saw harbor seals lounging on the rocks.

Ezekiel was tired form our journey so he slept the whole way home and it didn’t bother him one bit when his hat fell off and onto his face. I think the cold weather bothered him more.

To Grandmothers House We Go!

For the past couple of days we have been in Oregon with my parents. We have been having lots of fun together. My mom and I enjoy cooking together while the men enjoy playing x box. Ezekiel enjoyed snuggling with grandma during his nap time. We also had a Thanksgiving dinner one night. I made my first pumpkin pie ever. Not sure how I managed to go so long without ever making one but Bryan said it was delicious.

Visiting Grandparents

During Bryan’s paternity leave we were fortunate enough to visit his parents. They really enjoyed seeing Ezekiel. Ezekiel also got a kick out of their small dog.
